Вядзі праз змрок, ласкавае святло,
Вядзі мяне!
Цямнее ноч наўкол, далёка дом.
Вядзі мяне!
Мацней трымай, каб не сыйшоў са шляху ўбок.
Мне досыць ведаць мой наступны крок.

Я не маліўся нават, не прасіў,
Каб вёў мяне.
Упартым у гэтым быў, але ж цяпер
Вядзі мяне!
Нягледзячы на страхі, дзень любіў.
Мой гонар кіраваў жыццём тады.
3.
Так доўга літасць і любоў Твая
Вялі мяне
Па-над гарамі, багнай, плынню рэк.
І ноч міне.
Анёлаў раніцай убачу ў вышыні —
Я іх любіў, але на час забыў.
