The Truth
The truth of life cannot be evil,
Because the truth is always wise;
In modern times or times medieval,
When understood, it helps you rise.
The truth of life cannot be easy,
You should be ready for its sting,
Don't be afraid, it is releasing
And changing you and everything.
And, hidden deep, it has no label,
No cost or shape, no scent or sound.
Without pain and constant labour
The truth of life cannot be found.
But once it is by you discovered -
There is another world to see,
So complicated, multicoloured,
An endless space for you and me.
You may become a pioneer,
Yet be prepared to sacrifice,
To live and die with no one near,
To burn your fragile heart with ice.
One should be firm and strong enough
To be condemned and left behind,
To see how ugly, wild and rough
Can be the face of humankind.
And from this moment till the end
There'll be no peace, there'll be no youth,
So hard it'll be to understand
If it is madness or the truth...
Because the truth is always wise;
In modern times or times medieval,
When understood, it helps you rise.
The truth of life cannot be easy,
You should be ready for its sting,
Don't be afraid, it is releasing
And changing you and everything.
