In memory of Pr. Lindsay J. Laws
Here rests Lindsay
His surname is Laws
All of his life
He served the Lord's cause
Travelled the world
Spread the Good News
Shared the Word
Lifted the blues
His sense of humour
Famed near and far
Could well have made him
A comedy star
Yet, by God's providence
Early he chose
The noblest of missions
To rescue lost souls
Fought in the front line
With Christ on the banner
For your life and mine
In a fearless manner
Clever with hands
He turned shabby homes
Into a palace each
Made gems from stones
Wherever he went
He brought good tidings
In practice and word
Lit silver linings
In trials and joys
He had a boon
A personal summer
His faithful June
Whoever the fam'ly
Of theirs has seen
Would certainly think
He's a king and she's a queen
Though for now
He is no more
Jesus is holding
His new life in store
We are awaiting
The glorious morn
Then all the faithful
Shall be reborn
