Numb feet
After a long nocturnal flight,
A journey of a tremendous distance,
After having heard songs in new languages
And having done work I've never done before,
I come back
Rapidly, like a snowstorm,
And I slide back into my lazy body
And numb feet.
All the colours become slightly more
Regular and decent,
The avalanche of sensations is over,
And I remeber a funny conversation
And my tired numb feet.
