Grey and chilly

So grey and chilly outside,
I'm shivering like a dog,
This autumn locked me inside
My room to sleep like a log

But when I hear your voice
That's calling me by name,
My heart turns into a rose
Though everything stays the same.

So grey and chilly outside
But I don't wanna go home,
And if I had to decide
Which way is better to roam,

I'd rather choose the one
That's holding miles and miles,
I'd turn away from the sun
To see your beautiful smile.

So grey and chilly outside
But I can see the bright lights,
They're shining from the inside
And making warm every night,

And if you're not by my side
I will get lost in this world
That's grey and chilly outside
And full of empty cold words.
