God feels through the grass
«O Thou, Who’s infinite in space…»
Gavrila Derzhavin
God feels through the grass
God thinks through the trees
He breathes in them, smells fragrant,
And He is in the bees, and in the wasps,
In their beauty and perfection,
He lives in them and speaks,
He is they, they are He,
He is in stones, in air, in man,
In all the stars, in the atoms of creation,
Everything is only God,
He is everything in everything,
And there is nothing else
And even darkness and emptiness,
Which most of all
Whose name is Infinity,
God fills it all
And emptiness does not exist!
And just one dot,
A speck of dust is smaller than a microbe
Invisible under a microscope,
In it resides what
We call the Universe where we live
On our little planet,
Where are we, trees and flowers,
Where are - birds, fish, clouds,
And storm and rainbows and snow,
Volcanoes, rocks, dinosaurs,
And the Glory of God is this world
Overwhelms and carries
In Your loving palm,
What we don't value as much as we should
What we hardly notice
But the One who invented time
And created the universe,
He still loves us and is patient...
